Amrita is jovial and mischievous like any five-year-old, and enjoys acting, as said by her mother Mrinmayee Mukherjee. Mrinmayee makes sure that she studies alongwith her shooting schedule. Amrita's mom says "The atmosphere on the sets is very friendly and everyone keeps pampering her. We mostly shoot for four to five days in a week. If we reach the sets around 2.30 pm, we are there till 8pm and then I take her back home. The schedule is a little hectic, but I make sure she doesn't get stressed,". When she is not facing the camera, she enjoys reading her fairytale books and is learning bharatnatyam also. Amrita is flooded with various movie and commercial offers when asked her about this she says, "Bahut sare offers aa rahe hai but I want to study."
